Last week I was fortunate enough to attend Mesh '09, Canada's leading web conference. Just like the web site says, Mesh was a chance for me to connect with people who are just as interested and excited about the potential of the Web as I am‐ people who want to know more about how it is changing the way we live, work and interact with the world. I'm fascinated by what's happening online these days and consider myself lucky to be involved through ResIM.
I was thoroughly impressed by the Mesh experience, including the facility (MaRS), organization, and speaker roster. Anyone involved in the digital space should definitely consider attending Mesh '10 next year.
Instead of regurgitating content I've already written I'm going to provide links to the daily conference recaps as found on my blog:
Day one: http://jonathankochis.com/?p=56 (highlights include a keynote by Kiva's Jessica Jackley and sessions on social media, web marketing, and open government).
Day two: http://jonathankochis.com/?p=58 (highlights include a keynote by Toronto mayor David Miller and sessions on word of mouth marketing, social media marketing, and social media analytics).
Enjoy!
